How to make food spoil slower in Palworld

Set ItemCorruptionMultiplier=0.500000 in PalWorldSettings.ini and restart the server, and food and other items spoil at half speed.

ItemCorruptionMultiplier

Sets how fast items spoil or decay over time, such as food.

ItemCorruptionMultiplier=<rate>

Arguments

rateRequired
Multiplier, 1.000000 is normal.

What it does

Lower values slow down spoiling so stored items last longer; higher values make them rot faster.

Good to know

  • Edit PalWorldSettings.ini while the server is stopped; changes apply after a restart.
