How to change exp rate in Palworld

Set ExpRate=2.000000 in PalWorldSettings.ini and restart the server for double XP for players and Pals. 0.5 halves it.

Sets the experience gain multiplier for players and Pals.

ExpRate=<rate>

Examples

ExpRate=2.000000

Double EXP.

ExpRate=0.500000

Slower progression.

Arguments

rateRequired
Multiplier, 1.000000 is normal.

What it does

Raises or lowers all EXP earned. Values above 1 level players and Pals faster, which is common on casual or boosted servers.

Good to know

  • Edit PalWorldSettings.ini while the server is stopped; changes apply after a restart.
