How to turn on Hardcore mode in Palworld

Set bHardcore=True in PalWorldSettings.ini and restart the server, and players cannot respawn after they die.

bHardcore

Toggles Hardcore mode, where players cannot respawn after dying.

What it does

In Hardcore mode a dead character stays dead. Combine with bCharacterRecreateInHardcore to decide whether players can start a new character.

The game's own description: Enable Hardcore. You will not be able to respawn on death.

Good to know

  • Edit PalWorldSettings.ini while the server is stopped; changes apply after a restart.
