How to leave players asleep after logout in Palworld

Set bExistPlayerAfterLogout=True in PalWorldSettings.ini and restart the server: a player who logs out stays asleep in the world where they left.

bExistPlayerAfterLogout

Toggles whether a player's character stays in the world asleep at its location after logging out.

bExistPlayerAfterLogout=<True|False>

What it does

When on, logged out characters remain where they left, asleep. On PvP servers that means offline players can be found and attacked.

The game's own description: Whether players enter a sleeping state at their current location when logging out.

Good to know

  • Edit PalWorldSettings.ini while the server is stopped; changes apply after a restart.
