How to let players trigger a score in Minecraft
Type /trigger vote set 2 in chat to set your own score on the vote objective. Any player can use it once an operator enables that trigger.
trigger
Lets any player change their own score on a trigger objective, to activate map or data pack features.
/trigger <objective> [add <value>|set <value>] Examples
/trigger menu Adds 1 to your menu score.
/trigger vote set 2 Sets your vote score to 2.
Arguments
objectiveRequired- A trigger objective.
valueOptional- Amount to add or set.
What it does
The objective must use the trigger criterion, and an operator or function must enable it for the player with scoreboard players enable. After each use it is disabled again until re-enabled. Without add or set it adds 1.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab without the leading slash; in game, operators type it in chat with the slash. New to this? Start a Minecraft server first.
