How to stop music in Minecraft
Type /stopsound @a music in chat as an operator to stop the music for every player. /stopsound @a stops all sounds.

Stops sounds or music playing for players, all of them or only one category or sound.
/stopsound <targets> [<source>|*] [<sound>] Examples
/stopsound @a Stops all sounds for everyone.
/stopsound @a music Stops background music.
/stopsound @p * minecraft:entity.ender_dragon.growl Stops one sound.
Arguments
targetsRequired- Players to stop sounds for.
sourceOptional- Sound category, or
*for all. soundOptional- A specific sound ID.
What it does
With only targets it stops every sound. Add a source category to stop only that, or * plus a sound ID to stop one sound in any category.
Good to know
- Needs operator permission level 2.
