How to set the RCON password in Minecraft

Set rcon.password=use-a-long-random-password in server.properties with enable-rcon=true and restart the server. RCON clients must send it to connect.

rcon.password

passwordRequired: The value to write after the equals sign.

What it does

RCON only works with a non-empty password. Use a long random one, since anyone with it can run any console command.

Changes take effect after a server restart.
