How to set the server country flag in GMod

Type sv_location de in the server console to show the German flag next to your server in the browser. Any two-letter country code works.

sv_location

Sets the country flag shown next to the server in the Garry's Mod server browser.

sv_location <country code>

Arguments

country codeRequired: Two-letter country code such as de, us or gb.

What it does

Takes a two-letter ISO 3166-1 country code. The available flag icons are in the game's materials/flags16/ folder.

The game's own description: The location of the server to be displayed in the server browser. Format is ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country codes, all possible icons are in the materials/flags16/ folder.

Run it on your server

On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to garrysmod/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a GMod server first.
