How to give yourself weapons in GMod
With sv_cheats 1 on, type give weapon_rpg in your game console and the RPG goes straight into your inventory. Any weapon or item class works.
give
Hands you a weapon, item or entity by class name; needs sv_cheats 1.
give <class> Examples
give weapon_rpg Get the rocket launcher.
give item_ammo_357 Get .357 ammo.
Arguments
classRequired- Weapon or item class, for example weapon_rpg or item_healthkit.
What it does
Spawns the named class at your position, so weapons go straight into your inventory.

Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to garrysmod/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a GMod server first.
