How to turn on buddha mode in GMod
With sv_cheats 1 on, type buddha in your game console: you still take damage, but your health stops at 1. Type it again to turn it off.
buddha
Toggles buddha mode, where you take damage but cannot die; needs sv_cheats 1.
buddha Examples
buddha Take damage without dying.
What it does
Health stops at 1 instead of dropping to 0, which is useful for testing how much damage something deals.
The game's own description: Toggle. Player takes damage but won't die. (Shows red cross when health is zero)
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to garrysmod/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a GMod server first.
