Add tv_enable 1 to server.cfg and change map to start GOTV, the server's spectator broadcast and demo recorder.

tv_enable

Turns on GOTV, the server's built-in spectator broadcast and demo recorder.

tv_enable <0|1>

Examples

tv_enable 1

Enable GOTV from the next map.

tv_enable 1; tv_autorecord 1

Enable GOTV and record every match.

Values

1 On

Arguments

0|1Required
1 turns it on, 0 turns it off. true and false also work.

What it does

GOTV lets people watch the match with a delay and lets the server record demos with tv_record or tv_autorecord. It starts when the next map loads, so put it in server.cfg or the launch line and change map, or turn on tv_enable_dynamic.

The game's own description: Activates SourceTV on server.

Run it on your server

On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to game/csgo/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS2 server first.
