How to add a GSLT to a CS2 server

Add sv_setsteamaccount with your Game Server Login Token, made for app 730 on Steam, to the launch line so the public server is listed.

sv_setsteamaccount

Sets the Game Server Login Token (GSLT) the server uses to log in to Steam.

sv_setsteamaccount <token>

Examples

sv_setsteamaccount 0123456789ABCDEF0123456789ABCDEF

Log in with your token.

Arguments

tokenRequired
Your Game Server Login Token.

What it does

Public CS2 servers need a token so they can be listed and players can connect over the internet. Create one for app ID 730 on Steam's game server account page and keep it private.

The game's own description: token Set game server account token to use for logging in to a persistent game server account

Good to know

  • Usually passed on the launch line as +sv_setsteamaccount <token>.
  • Each token can only be used by one running server at a time.

Run it on your server

On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to game/csgo/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS2 server first.
