How to bind your primary weapon in CS2

Type bind 1 slot1 in your game console so 1 switches to your rifle, SMG, shotgun or sniper.

Put your primary weapon on its number key.

What it does

Selects slot 1, your rifle, SMG, shotgun or sniper. It is what the number key 1 does by default. If you have nothing in that slot, nothing happens.

Use it in your game

Type it in your own game console: turn on the developer console in the game's settings, then press the key under Esc. To keep it, put the line in game/csgo/cfg/autoexec.cfg.
