How to pause the server in CS2
Set sv_pausable 1, then type pause in the server console to freeze the game, and again to unpause. For matches, use mp_pause_match.

What it does
Only works when sv_pausable is 1. For competitive matches, mp_pause_match is the usual choice because it pauses at freeze time.

On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to game/csgo/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS2 server first.
