How to set the public IP of a CS2 server

Type net_public_adr 203.0.113.10 in the server console, or on the launch line, so a server behind NAT reports the IP players connect to.

net_public_adr

Sets the public IP address for a server behind NAT.

net_public_adr <ip>

Examples

net_public_adr 203.0.113.10

Advertise the public address.

Arguments

ipRequired
Public IPv4 address.

What it does

Use it when the server runs behind a router or in a container and should report its public address. Set it to the address players use to connect.

The game's own description: For servers behind NAT/DHCP meant to be exposed to the public internet, this is the public facing ip address string: ('x.x.x.x' )

Run it on your server

On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to game/csgo/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS2 server first.
