How to restore a round in CS2

Type mp_backup_restore_load_file backup_round12.txt in the server console to bring back the money, kills and scores saved in that backup.

mp_backup_restore_load_file

Restores a match from a round backup file: money, kills, scores and team scores.

mp_backup_restore_load_file <filename>

Examples

mp_backup_restore_load_file backup_round12.txt

Restore the match to after round 12.

Arguments

filenameRequired
Backup file name as shown by mp_backup_restore_list_files.

What it does

Loads the state saved in a backup and restarts from the round after it. This is how you recover a match after a server crash or a mass disconnect. By default the match is paused after loading so everyone can get ready.

The game's own description: Loads player cash, KDA, scores and team scores; resets to the next round after the backup

Run it on your server

On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to game/csgo/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS2 server first.
