How to set max matchmaking ping in CS2

Type mm_dedicated_search_maxping 80 in your game console so matchmaking only picks official servers with a ping up to 80.

msRequired: Maximum ping in milliseconds.

What it does

This is the max acceptable matchmaking ping setting. Lower values keep you on nearby servers with a better connection but can make queue times longer.

Run it on your server
