How to hide HUD elements in CS2

Run sv_cheats 1, then type hidehud 4 in your game console to hide the HUD; hidehud 0 shows it again.

hidehud

Hides selected HUD elements using a bitmask, 4 hides everything; requires sv_cheats 1.

hidehud <bitmask>

Examples

hidehud 4

Hide the whole HUD.

hidehud 0

Show everything again.

Arguments

bitmaskRequired
Sum of the parts to hide, for example 4 for all.

What it does

Each bit hides a part of the HUD, and you add the numbers together to hide several. Many bits come from older Source games and have no effect in CS2; 4 is the useful one for a clean screen.

The game's own description: bitmask: 1=weapon selection, 2=flashlight, 4=all, 8=health, 16=player dead, 32=needssuit, 64=misc, 128=chat, 256=crosshair, 512=vehicle crosshair, 1024=in vehicle

Use it in your game

Type it in your own game console: turn on the developer console in the game's settings, then press the key under Esc. To keep it, put the line in game/csgo/cfg/autoexec.cfg.
