How to change demo speed in CS2
Type demo_timescale 0.5 in your game console to play the demo at half speed, or demo_timescale 4 to fast forward.
demo_timescale
Sets the demo playback speed, for example 0.5 for half speed or 2 for double.
demo_timescale <speed> Examples
demo_timescale 0.25 Quarter speed.
demo_timescale 4 Fast forward.
Arguments
speedRequired- Playback speed multiplier, 1 is normal.
What it does
Speeds up or slows down demo playback. Slow it down to study a fight, speed it up to skip through buy time.

Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to game/csgo/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS2 server first.
