How to watch a match from a share code in CS2

Type csgo_download_match followed by the match's CSGO- share code in your game console; the demo starts playing once it has downloaded.

Downloads a match by its share code and starts playing it.

Arguments

sharecodeRequired: The match share code, starting with CSGO-.

What it does

Fetches a matchmaking demo from a match share code, the CSGO- code you can copy from a match. The demo starts once the download finishes.

Good to know

Old demos expire on Valve's servers and can no longer be downloaded.

Use it in your game

Type it in your own game console: turn on the developer console in the game's settings, then press the key under Esc. To keep it, put the line in game/csgo/cfg/autoexec.cfg.
