How to show developer messages in CS:S

With sv_cheats 1 on, type developer 1 in the console to print extra developer messages. Set it back to 0 for normal play.

1 shows extra messages, 2 shows even more. Leave it at 0 in normal play since it clutters the screen.

Flagged as a cheat setting in this build, so it needs sv_cheats 1 on a server.

Run it on your server

On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to cstrike/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS:S server first.
