How to send a team chat message in CS 1.6

Type say_team Rotate to B in your game console and only players on your team see the message.

Arguments

messageRequired: The text to send to teammates.

What it does

Sends a message only to players on the same team. It is a player command, so in the server console it has no team to send to; use say to message everyone.

Run it on your server

On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to cstrike/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS 1.6 server first.
