Values
| Value | What it does |
|---|---|
| 0Default | Spectate anyone |
| 1 | Spectate own team only |
| 2 | Own team only, first-person view only |
Arguments
modeRequired- 0, 1 or 2.
What it does
With 0, dead players can watch anyone, including enemies. Set it to 1 so they can only watch teammates, or 2 to also lock them to first-person view. Matches usually use 1 or 2 so dead players cannot scout the enemy for their team.
Good to know
- A nonzero
mp_forcechasecamtakes priority over this value.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to cstrike/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS 1.6 server first.
