How to change the first backup delay in Valheim

Add -backupshort 3600 to the server's launch options, and the first automatic backup happens after 1 hour instead of 2.

-backupshort

Sets the interval for the first automatic backup, in seconds. The default is 7200 (2 hours).

-backupshort <seconds>

-backupshort 3600

Newest backup at most one hour old.

secondsRequired: Seconds between the first backups.

What it does

Controls how old the newest backup is allowed to get.

Good to know

Add it to the server start line in start_server.sh (Linux) or start_headless_server.bat (Windows); it applies on the next server start.
