How to change the wipe day in Rust
Type wipetimer.wipedayofweek 5 in the server console so the wipe timer counts down to Friday. 0 is Sunday, 4 (Thursday) is the default.

What it does
Together with the wipe hour and timezone, this decides the next wipe the timer shows. The default 4 is Thursday, the day Facepunch releases monthly updates. This setting controls the timer only; you still wipe the map yourself.

Run it on your server
Type it in the server console or send it over RCON; admins can also use the F1 console in game. To keep a setting, run server.writecfg after changing it, or put it on the launch line as +name value.
