How to type in team chat from console in Rust

Type chat.teamsay "meet at base" in the F1 console to send that message to your team chat.

chat.teamsay

Sends a message to your team chat.

chat.teamsay "<message>"

What it does

Only your team members see the message.

Run it on your server

Type it in the server console or send it over RCON; admins can also use the F1 console in game. To keep a setting, run server.writecfg after changing it, or put it on the launch line as +name value.
