What it does
The server fills this with a random token when it first writes the file. Keep it private, since it grants control of the server through the management API.
Good to know
- Changes take effect after a server restart.
- Treat it like a password.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab without the leading slash; in game, operators type it in chat with the slash. New to this? Start a Minecraft server first.
