How to turn on god mode in GMod
With sv_cheats 1 on, type god in your game console and you take no damage. Type god again to turn it off.
god
Toggles god mode for yourself so you take no damage; needs sv_cheats 1.
god Examples
god Toggle invincibility.
What it does
Typed in your own console. For invincibility for every player without cheats, Sandbox servers use sbox_godmode.
The game's own description: Toggle. Player becomes invulnerable.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to garrysmod/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a GMod server first.
