How to ban a player in GMod
Type banid 0 STEAM_0:1:12345678 kick in the server console to ban that SteamID permanently and kick them, then writeid to save the ban.
banid
Bans a player by user ID or SteamID for a number of minutes; 0 bans permanently.
banid <minutes> <userid|steamid> [kick] Examples
banid 0 STEAM_0:1:12345678 kick Permanent ban and kick.
banid 60 5 kick One hour ban for user ID 5.
Arguments
minutesRequired- Ban length in minutes, 0 for permanent.
userid|steamidRequired- User ID from status, or SteamID.
kickOptional- Also kick the player now.
What it does
Adds the SteamID to the ban list. Add kick at the end to also remove the player right away. Run writeid afterwards, or permanent bans are lost on restart.
