How to show FPS in CS2
Type cl_showfps 1 in your game console to show your FPS at the top of the screen; cl_showfps 0 hides it.
cl_showfps
Shows an FPS counter at the top of the screen; higher values show smoothed FPS or server timing.

Arguments
modeRequired- 0 off, 1 FPS, 2 smooth FPS, 3 server ms, 4 FPS with logging.
What it does
Draws your frame rate on screen without opening any overlay. Mode 1 shows the raw FPS, 2 a smoothed value, 3 adds server timing in milliseconds and 4 also logs the numbers to a file.

Good to know
- The settings menu also has a performance overlay with ping and frame time.
Use it in your game
Type it in your own game console: turn on the developer console in the game's settings, then press the key under Esc. To keep it, put the line in game/csgo/cfg/autoexec.cfg.
