How to fade the outer crosshair lines in CS2

Type cl_crosshair_dynamic_splitalpha_outermod 0.5 in your game console to make the split outer lines half see-through, with crosshair style 2.

cl_crosshair_dynamic_splitalpha_outermod

Sets the opacity of the outer crosshair lines after they split, from 0.3 to 1, with crosshair style 2.

cl_crosshair_dynamic_splitalpha_outermod <0.3-1>

Examples

cl_crosshair_dynamic_splitalpha_outermod 0.5

Outer lines half transparent.

Arguments

valueRequired
Opacity multiplier from 0.3 to 1.

What it does

With cl_crosshairstyle 2, this scales the transparency of the outer lines that move away when you shoot or run. Lower values make them fade more.

The game's own description: If using cl_crosshairstyle 2, this is the alpha modification that will be used for the OUTER crosshair pips once they've split. [0.3 - 1]
