How to use RCON in CS:S

Set rcon_password to the server's password, then type rcon status in your game console to run status on the server.

rcon

Sends a command to the server's remote console.

rcon <command>

Examples

rcon changelevel de_dust2

Change map remotely.

rcon status

Check the player list.

Arguments

commandRequired: Server command to run.

What it does

Set rcon_password first. While connected the command goes to the current server, otherwise to rcon_address.

Type it in your own game console: turn on the developer console in the game's settings, then press the key under Esc. To keep it, put the line in cstrike/cfg/autoexec.cfg.
