spawn

Internal command a client sends while connecting. Not typed by admins.

spawn

Examples

status

Use status to check connected players instead.

What it does

Part of the connection process where the client is placed in the game. It has nothing to do with spawning a player in a round and has no use in the server console.

Run it on your server

On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to cstrike/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS 1.6 server first.
