How to hide reserved slots on a TF2 server

Type sv_visiblemaxplayers 24 in the server console to show 24 slots in the browser and keep the rest for admins. -1 shows the real count.

Overrides the max player count shown to people browsing for servers. -1 shows the real slot count.

sv_visiblemaxplayers <count>

Show 24 slots on a 26 slot server.

Often used to hide reserved slots: the server shows fewer slots than it really has, and admins use the extra ones.

Run it on your server
