What it does
Starts or stops logging to file, console and any remote log addresses. Without arguments it shows the current state. League configs and stats services like logs.tf need it on.
The game's own description: Enables logging to file, console, and udp < on | off >.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to tf/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a TF2 server first.
