How to join spectator in TF2

Type jointeam spectate in your game console to go to spectator. jointeam red or jointeam blue puts you back on a team.

Arguments

teamRequired: red, blue, auto or spectate.

What it does

Switches you to the chosen team without opening the team menu. Handy for binds. The server can block the switch if teams would become too unbalanced.

Type it in your own game console: turn on the developer console in the game's settings, then press the key under Esc. To keep it, put the line in tf/cfg/autoexec.cfg.
