How to turn off your crosshair in TF2
Type crosshair 0 in your game console to hide your crosshair and crosshair 1 to show it again.

What it does
Some players hide the crosshair for certain weapons through class configs, for example on projectile weapons.
Use it in your game
Type it in your own game console: turn on the developer console in the game's settings, then press the key under Esc. To keep it, put the line in tf/cfg/autoexec.cfg.
