How to change your crosshair style in TF2
Type cl_crosshair_file crosshair5 in your game console to switch the crosshair image. cl_crosshair_file "" goes back to each weapon's default.

Sets which crosshair image is used. Empty uses each weapon's default crosshair.

Arguments
nameRequired- Crosshair file name, or empty for the default.
What it does
The same choice as the crosshair picker in Multiplayer options. Values are file names from the game's crosshair set, such as crosshair1 to crosshair7, or a custom crosshair file.
Use it in your game
Type it in your own game console: turn on the developer console in the game's settings, then press the key under Esc. To keep it, put the line in tf/cfg/autoexec.cfg.
