How to unban a player in Rust

Type global.unban 76561198000000000 in the server console to lift the ban on that Steam ID, then server.writecfg to save it.

global.unban

Removes a ban for a Steam64 ID so the player can join again.

unban <steamid>

Examples

unban 76561198000000000

Lift a ban.

Arguments

steamidRequired
The banned player's Steam64 ID.

What it does

Takes the Steam64 ID from the ban list. Run server.writecfg afterwards so the change is also saved to bans.cfg.

The game's own description: Removes the ban for the specified Steam64 ID from the server banlist, allowing the player to reconnect

Good to know

  • Find the ID with banlistex.

Run it on your server

Type it in the server console or send it over RCON; admins can also use the F1 console in game. To keep a setting, run server.writecfg after changing it, or put it on the launch line as +name value.
