How to make days longer in Rust
Type env.daylength 45 in the server console so daytime lasts 45 real minutes, like official servers. Night is separate, about 15 minutes.
env.daylength
Sets how many real minutes daytime lasts on the server.
env.daylength <minutes> Examples
env.daylength 45 About the daylight of an official server.
env.daylength 120 Two hours of daylight.
Arguments
minutesRequired- Real minutes of daytime.
What it does
Higher values make daytime last longer; night is a separate, shorter part of the cycle. Official servers run about 45 minutes of daylight and about 15 minutes of night. Do not set it to 0; to stop time, use env.progresstime False instead.
The game's own description: How many real minutes one in-game day lasts on the server. Not sent to clients, whose sky keeps its own day length between time syncs, so lower it headless or in the editor to run a day through quickly. Never zero, freeze time with env.progresstime instead
Run it on your server
Type it in the server console or send it over RCON; admins can also use the F1 console in game. To keep a setting, run server.writecfg after changing it, or put it on the launch line as +name value.
