mp_falldamage <0|1> Examples
mp_falldamage 1 Realistic fall damage.
Values
| Value | What it does |
|---|---|
| 0Default | Flat damage |
| 1 | Realistic, speed-based damage |
Arguments
0|1Required- 1 for speed-based damage, 0 for flat damage.
What it does
With it off, the base gamemode deals a flat 10 damage for any damaging fall. With it on, damage grows with how fast the player was falling, so high drops can kill.
The game's own description: Enables realistic fall damage.
Good to know
- Gamemodes can replace fall damage logic entirely.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to garrysmod/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a GMod server first.
