How to change gravity in GMod

Type sv_gravity 100 in the server console for floaty moon gravity where players jump higher; sv_gravity 600 is the default.

sv_gravity

Sets world gravity for players and physics objects, in units per second squared; lower means floatier jumps.

sv_gravity <value>

Examples

sv_gravity 100

Low gravity fun.

sv_gravity 600

Back to the normal value.

Arguments

valueRequired
Gravity in units per second squared.

What it does

Lower values make players jump higher and objects fall slower, higher values make everything heavier. Set it to around 100 for a moon gravity server.

The game's own description: World gravity.

Run it on your server

On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to garrysmod/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a GMod server first.
