What it does
A client setting that enables multi-threaded rendering, which raises frame rates on many PCs but can cause instability. Its own help text warns not to enable it and then complain about issues.
The game's own description: if you find this, don't go around enabling it and then complaining about issues
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to garrysmod/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a GMod server first.
