How to change HUD width in CS2
Type safezonex 0.9 in your game console to pull health, ammo and radar in from the screen sides; 1 keeps them at the edges.
safezonex
Sets how much of the screen width the HUD uses; lower values pull HUD elements in from the sides.
safezonex <value> Examples
safezonex 0.9 Pull the HUD in from the sides.
Arguments
valueRequired- Share of screen width, 1 is the full width.
What it does
Defines the horizontal safe area for the HUD as a share of the screen width. At 1 the HUD sits at the screen edges; lowering it moves health, ammo and radar toward the center, which helps on very wide or curved screens.
The game's own description: The percentage of the screen width that is considered safe from overscan. Cannot result in a width less than the height.
Good to know
- The game will not make the safe width smaller than the height.
Use it in your game
Type it in your own game console: turn on the developer console in the game's settings, then press the key under Esc. To keep it, put the line in game/csgo/cfg/autoexec.cfg.
