How to show FPS in CS:S

Type cl_showfps 1 in your CS:S console to show your FPS at the top of the screen; cl_showfps 0 hides it.

cl_showfps

Shows your frames per second at the top of the screen.

cl_showfps <mode>

What it does

1 shows the live FPS, 2 shows a smoothed value. Use net_graph 1 to see FPS with ping too.

The game's own description: Draw fps meter at top of screen (1 = fps, 2 = smooth fps)

Use it in your game

Type it in your own game console: turn on the developer console in the game's settings, then press the key under Esc. To keep it, put the line in cstrike/cfg/autoexec.cfg.
