How to join a TF2 server by IP

Arguments

ip:portRequired

Server address, port is 27015 if left out.

What it does

The quickest way to join a server you know. If the server has a password, set it with password first or enter it when asked.

The game's own description: Connect to specified server.

Use it in your game

Type it in your own game console: turn on the developer console in the game's settings, then press the key under Esc. To keep it, put the line in tf/cfg/autoexec.cfg.
