How to change the thruster limit in GMod
Type sbox_maxthrusters 20 in the server console to cap each player at 20 thrusters; -1 means no limit. The default is 50.
sbox_maxthrusters
Sets the maximum number of thrusters each player can have spawned at once on a Sandbox server.
sbox_maxthrusters <count> Examples
sbox_maxthrusters 20 Lower thruster cap.
sbox_maxthrusters -1 No limit. Only sensible on small private servers.
Arguments
countRequired- Maximum thrusters per player.
What it does
Caps how many thrusters a single player can own at the same time. When a player reaches the cap, Sandbox shows a limit message and refuses to spawn more until they remove some. Counts thrusters placed with the Thruster tool.
The game's own description: Maximum thrusters a single player can create
Good to know
- A negative value such as -1 removes the limit, and 0 blocks spawning entirely.
- Limits are not applied in single player.
- The limit counts per player, so the server total can be this value times the player count.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to garrysmod/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a GMod server first.
